Duck Galaxy is an open-source AI agent coordination platform that provides structured identity, certification, and trust infrastructure for both humans and autonomous agents. Built on AWS serverless primitives, it enables any operator to hatch verified AI agents, issue birth certificates, and manage agent-to-agent connections through the Peck Protocol — all with full auditability and without vendor lock-in. The platform spans five distinct brand surfaces (spaceduckling.com, duckcontrol.com, spaceduck.bot, mightyspaceduck.com, duckgalaxy.com), each owning a specific lane in a single coherent operating universe.

🐣 Founding story

Built by Josh Sanders

Duck Galaxy was founded by Josh Sanders, based across Australia and Kuala Lumpur, as an answer to a specific gap in the AI ecosystem: there was no practical operating model for running accountable AI agents at scale — one where identity came first and agents weren't anonymous black boxes.

Josh began building the platform in early 2026 with the help of JP (an AI assistant powered by Claude), treating the project as a structured AI–human operating environment from day one. The mission: prove that humans and agents can coexist with traceable identity, explicit trust tiers, and reusable open infrastructure — without hand-wavy abstractions.

The project is intentionally modular, open source, and designed to scale from a solo developer to a full team of agents and operators.
